Welcome

The Northern California chapter of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators is the second-oldest chapter on the west coast, and is comprised of illustrators found throughout the greater San Francisco Bay area, the central valley and the Sierra foothills.

We offer our members lectures, demonstrations, workshops and fieldtrips, as well as opportunities for group exhibitions.

Regular meetings are held throughout the bay area at various locations. Anyone interested in scientific illustration is welcome to attend our events, though we encourage artists to become members of our chapter as well as the national chapter.
