Capabilities

I specialize in creating scientifically accurate illustrations in both digital and traditional media, with particular interests in illustrating birds, botany, aquatic invertebrates, and other insects and fishes-both freshwater and marine. Recent clients include the U.S. Forest Service, National Park Service, and the California Native Plant Society.

MAJOR PROJECTS

World Migratory Bird Day project for the conservation organization, BirdsCaribbean. 
I created 24 digital illustrations in black and color for a youth education series teaching kids about the biology of species that migrate through the West Indies (2023).


Habitats of the World Book Series

I illustrated the front covers of a series of books being published by Princeton University Press (as seen below). 2021-2023.


 Endemic Birds of the West Indies Colouring Book

This book was published in 2020 by BirdsCaribbean and includes 50 species of birds I illustrated which are depicted in their natural habitats. A Spanish language version came out in 2022 and a French version is planned in the near future.

Design, text, and illustrations for a 3′ x 5′ interpretive panel including original watercolor paintings of Ruffed Grouse and American Woodcock.


Organic Chemistry: An Acid-Base Approach, Second Edition

I created dozens of digital illustrations of chemical compounds for this textbook.
