Learn sketching, painting, and journaling with Christine
If you enjoyed the Nature Sketching Challenge, I’d like to share a bit more about the new sketching and journaling membership program I mentioned previously. I’m still ironing out the details, but in a nutshell, this web-based program provides ongoing monthly inspiration, support, and feedback as you grow your sketching practice.
What’s included
- A new in-depth tutorial each month for sketching specific flora and fauna.
- Explorations of sketching and painting tools and techniques.
- Drawing skills including 3-dimensional form; perspective; textures; patterns; and color
- Painting skills, with a focus on watercolor techniques
- Creative ideas for adding written observations in your journals.
- Tips for supplies and techniques for sketching in the field.
- Foundational content from the Nature Sketching Challenge series for your continued reference.
- A Kid’s Corner with coloring pages and step-by-step drawing guides, which will keep them happily entertained, allowing you to sketch all you want to!
How does the program work?
The program is funded by participants through a small monthly fee, and you’ll be free to leave (though we’ll miss you) anytime if you feel that you’re not getting enough value from the program. Best of all, as a graduate of the Nature Sketching Challenge, you’ll have an active voice in choosing content for the program, and you’ll be eligible for “founding member” pricing.
