About your Guide
Hello there, I’m Christine.
I love empowering animal lovers to depict what they see in nature and to learn something new about animals along the way. I’ve been an animal lover and artist ever since I could walk and I’ve spent decades teaching people how to draw as well as working as a freelance biological illustrator for over 20 years.
My work has taken me around the country and the world, from working as a field biologist to leading international wildlife sketching holidays, to teaching drawing workshops at festivals and conferences from Alaska to Panama. My illustration clients have ranged from conservation organizations to national book publishers, most recently having illustrated a 7-book series on Habitats of the World for Princeton University Press.
But I am most excited about helping YOU to see and understand wildlife at a deeper level through sketching and drawing them.
