Fireflies aren’t flies at all, but glow-in-the-dark beetles of which there are nearly 2,000 species!

In this workshop, you’ll learn how fireflies produce their light, what it’s used for, and other fascinating aspects of their biology and anatomy which will prepare you for sketching them.

Then I’ll lead you through a step-by-step sketching demonstration where we will draw a pretty firefly together.
