Warbler Slideshow and Sketching Demo

With Spring hot on the heels of Winter here in North America, warblers are making their way from their southern wintering grounds to establish their breeding territories in the north. In the slideshow below, you’ll learn the basics of identifying warblers, see some examples of both migratory and Central American endemics, then learn how to sketch a warbler as I take you through easy steps to complete a drawing of a Yellow-rumped Warbler.

Watch the video below to learn all about warbler diversity and anatomy, then follow along while I demonstrate how to sketch a Yellow-rumped Warbler. All you need is a pencil and paper. You might also want to DOWNLOAD the Warbler Sketching Cheat Sheet I use in the demo.

So let’s get started!
